The BEST TikTok and Instagram Dessert Spots in PARIS

Paris and desserts go hand in hand. This post isn’t focused on the deliciousness of said desserts, but rather the aesthetics. However, lucky for us given it is French food, everything is still delectable.

I think it’s only fair to allow the photos to do all the talking (er… writing) with this post.

So go on, then! Indulge your eyes (and your tastebuds) below!

Le Train Bleu

Location: Pl. Louis-Armand, 75012 Paris

Located inside Gare de Lyon, this ornate establishment has graced diners and onlookers alike for over 100 years. Originally built for the Exposition Universelle, contemporary diners can take a step back in time and enjoy (overtly expensive) dainty delights and tasty drinks amongst literal artwork.

CARETTE

Location: 25 Place des Vosges (75003) / 4 Place du Trocadéro (75016)

When discussing Parisian macarons with North American friends, Carette seems to be one of the lesser-known brands. This is madness! In my (not so humble) opinion, Carette produces some of the absolute best macarons in the French capital. The macaron shells are consistently soft, with a slight crunch (this is good).

BERTHILLON

Location: 31 rue saint louis en l'ile, 46 Rue Saint-Louis en l'Île (75004)

My favourite ice cream spot in Paris - located in the picturesque Île de la Cité - is Berthillon. This creamery is an indulgence, and specializes in elaborate “coupes” (see below). You can get single servings… but you’ll be craving more!

GLACE BACHIR

Location: 58 Rue Rambuteau, 75003 Paris, France

Nestled on a narrow street is a Lebanese-style ice cream shop, that prides itself on using organic ingredients, topped with copious amounts of Pistachios. Who doesn’t love some healthy fats? (If you’re allergic to tree nuts, perhaps skip this spot).

Angelina

Location: 226 Rue de Rivoli (75001)

Angelina’s desserts are truly as delicious as the Belle Époque decor. Worth going for a feast of the eyes, and mouth. a perennial favourite of mine!

Ladurée

Location: 232 Rue de Rivoli, (75001) amongst many, many more

Ladurée is one of the two most popular macaron producers in Paris, and with good reason.

This Parisian macaron chain creates some incredibly flavourful and smooth bites in a variety of tempting parfums (flavours). They offer many traditional flavours, and do them beautifully (both vanilla & chocolate are wonderful). Some of the flavours I highly recommend sampling would be Fleur d’oranger (Orange blossom), Caramel à la Fleur de Sel (Salted caramel), and Thé Marie-Antoinette (Their signature Marie-Antoinette tea).

Breizh Café

Location: 1 Rue de l'Odéon, (75006) / 109 Rue Vieille-du-Temple (75003)

Crêpes are a must-have dessert in France. My favourite for sweet ones are from Breizh Café. Be careful - they’re addictive!

Pierre HermÉ

Location: 4 Rue Cambon, 75001 (amongst others)

Pierre Hermé is known as one of the best macaron makers in Paris. This reputation is quite well deserved, as their macarons do taste superb. These macarons I find more “fluffy” and dense than those of Ladurée. They also come in less traditional flavours, which could be a bonus if you’re looking to sample something unique. The stores also sell other pâtisseries if macarons aren’t your fancy (although, I’d seriously question why you’d click a “Best Macarons in Paris” article if they weren’t).
