Best Macarons in Toronto!

Who doesn’t love a good macaron? I know I do 🙋🏻‍♀️!

Here are my favourite Toronto locations to help you get a fix of this Parisian treat!

1. Butter Avenue

Butter Avenue specializes in macarons, and in this endeavour, they thrive.

Smooth, thick, and creamy would all be words I’d use to describe their fantastic macarons. They come in a variety of unique and mouth-watering flavours, and I’ve always found the service to be top-notch! Find other delicious dessert places by clicking this link.

Stop in for delectable macaron flavours such as White Chocolate Strawberry, Crème Brûlée, Earl Grey, Matcha, Sea Salt Caramel, and many, many more seasonal offerings.

They also offer Afternoon Teas on the weekends for $29.50 a person.

Location:
477 Queen Street West

2. Daan Go Cake Lab

I only recently discovered Daan Go Cake Lab on a jaunt to Kensington. Market. I couldn’t resist popping in and grabbing some adorable macarons when I saw their window display!

Not only do these novelty macarons look adorable, they also taste spectacular! With unique flavours like white peach, milk tea, and Vietnamese coffee, these are macarons like you’ve never tasted them before! I highly recommend a visit!

Location:
3380 Midland Ave #11 (East End)
202 Baldwin Street (Kensington Market)

3. Laduréé

Ladurée, the Parisian macaron chain with a Torontonian residency in Yorkdale, makes some stellar macarons. You can read a more in-depth review of the chain by clicking this link or find other great dessert places by pressing here.

As the Canadian branch of this French chain ships in all of it’s ingredients from Switzerland, it’s no wonder as to the excellence of the taste of their macarons. The design of the café itself is also a big draw, and you’ll feel incredibly posh as you nibble away on such flavours as Marie-Antoinette or Fleur d’oranger. Très chic!

Location:
3401 Dufferin Street (Yorkdale Shopping Centre)

4. Bobette & Belle

Anyone seeking a little bit of French Flair in Uptown Toronto should head over to Bobette & Belle.

Read a more about Bobette & Belle by clicking here.

It should come at no surprise that any establishment taking inspiration from France would offer macarons. Luckily in the case of Bobette & Belle, those macarons are delicious and come in a variety of tempting flavours such as the classic Chocolate or Vanilla, and more adventurers combos like Peach Belini, Milk Chocolate Caramel, and Strawberry Champagne.

As always, the decor of their café is also a huge plus for me in my books!

P.S. I love their use of gold flakes on their Strawberry Champagne flavour.

Locations:
3347 Yonge Street (Uptown)
1121 Queen Street East (Downtown)

5. Nadège

Nadège has some interesting macaron flavours, and with multiple locations in Toronto, it’s easy to get your fix.

Personally, they are not my favourite Torontonian macarons as I find them a tad too sweet, but if that’s what you prefer, definitely give them a try! The flavour I’d recommend is Champagne (look at those sparkles!) or Cassis.

Locations:
780 Queen Street West
3401 Dufferin Street
1099 Yonge Street
Richmond Adelaide Centre
