KORA Organics Skincare Review (Clean Beauty)

Back in the winter, an associate at Sephora who I was talking to about face oils recommended that I try one from KORA Organics. I wasn’t too familiar with the brand before that, but I ended up researching some of the products when I got home later that day, and ended up purchasing both oils.

In this post, I am going to be breaking down two noteworthy products from KORA Organics: Noni Glow Face Oil and Noni Radiant Eye Oil. Both of these products are created to utilize the eponymous “Noni fruit”.

Do these oils work? Are they worth it? Let’s find out!

Noni Fruit

What is it? A green Southeast Asian and Australasian fruit from the coffee family.

What are its skincare benefits? Being a fruit rich in over 100 different vitamins and minerals, Noni is a powerful antioxidant that helps combat environmental stressors and free radicals. Due to this, Noni is an effective anti-aging ingredient that is beneficial when applied topically to the skin.

KORA Organics NOni Glow Face oil

Noni Glow Face Oil is an impressive blend of potent oils and fruit extracts that help to nourish and brighten skin.

This oil has a likeable scent, and a colour that doesn’t leave your skin looking like a Cheeto. The dropper is easy to use, and the glass case is quite thick.

As for the oil itself, I do find it a good addition to my skincare routine. The combination on ingredients leaves my skin looking plump, and well hydrated.

My only misgiving about this product is that it’s texture can be a bit slick. While not greasy, it is not as “absorbable” as other face oils I have tried. However, this is quite minor, and with some patience, it does eventually melt into the skin. The only time I find this frustrating is during the daytime, as I have to wait longer to apply my SPF. However, at nighttime, this is not an issue and is tolerable.

Overall, I really do enjoy this face oil. I am glad to have purchased it!

Ideal For: Uneven skin texture, dullness

Skin Type: Dry, Combo, Oily

Standout Ingredients: Noni Fruit Extract (antioxidant), Pomegranate Oil (moisturizer), Rosehip Oil (fatty acids), Sea Buckthorn Oil (increases skin’s clarity)

KORA Organics NOni radiant eye oil

I won’t lie, I was very skeptical about this product. I only ordered it online after the mandated coronavirus self-isolation went into place, but wow, I am so glad I did!

This eye oil is incredibly luxurious, and has a gorgeous texture and scent. The crystal quartz roller ball (one of the things I was skeptical about) rolls beautifully underneath the eye area without tugging or pulling it at all. In fact, the cold surface seems to help clear away any under-eye puffiness I might have in the morning.

I really like this product, and the skin under my eyes has looked more “awake” since I’ve begun using this product.

I am definitely an eye oil convert, and it’s a product that I never knew I needed!

As for it’s usage, I have swapped my under-eye serum for this eye oil. At night, I add an eye cream overtop of it for extra hydration. It’s a very easy swap, that you can use either everyday, or every second day for added hydration and brightening to your routine!

Ideal For: Rough skin texture, dullness, dryness

Skin Type: Dry, Combo, Oily

Standout Ingredients: Noni Fruit Extract (antioxidant), Tomato Fruit (reduced inflammation and redness), Marine Bamboo Extracts (anti-aging), Kahai Oil (hydration), Coffee (brightening and tightening)

Recommended? Yes

Overall Thoughts

While I do like both KORA Organics products, if I had to pick one, I would say the Noni Radiance Eye Oil is a clear favourite. It’s very luxurious, and makes the skin around my eye area feel very hydrated. The crystal quartz roller ball, while somewhat boujee, definitely makes my eyes feel less puffy (making its the #drip talking).

Regardless, these are both very nice products, and they’d make good additions to any pre-existing skincare routine!
