Top 10 Best Lush Products

Eco-friendly and natural, it’s hard not to adore Lush Cosmetics. Although many of their products deserve recognition, this my personal list of 10 favourite products. Let me know in the comments below any other products you think I should try! Enjoy.

Beelieve the buzz around this product!

Scrubee is a hardworking body butter that deals effectively with dry, flaky skin.

This little cutie is an outstanding performer, thanks to its dual action core - its bee stripes work to both exfoliate and moisturize the skin. As you scrub, your pesky dry skin cells #LeaveTheChat, and the remaining skin gets hydrated with this shea butter, cocoa butter, and honey infused product.

Trust me honey, you’ll be feeling like a Queen Bee when you use this!

2. Sandstone

My favourite Lush soap has to be Sandstone.

While aesthetically not my favourite design, the reason I find this product covetable is because it’s a powerful exfoliator with a pleasant citrus scent. Whenever I swipe sandstone over my body in the shower, I come out feeling like a freshly shorn sheep.

During the dry winter months, or before you bare all for the summer weather, grab a bar of sandstone and have your skin feeling plump and smooth.

3. Catastrophe Cosmetic

Is your skin looking somewhat catastrophic?

Forgot cosmetic treatments, and instead slather on this nourishing cream full of calming ingredients and antioxidants.

The key ingredients in this cleansing face mask are blueberries, calamine powder, rose absolute, and chamomile blue oil. It’s certainly nutrient-rich, and it aims to soothe and calm irritated skin. The biggest plus for me is that it doesn’t disturb my sensitive skin!

Overall, Catastrophe Cosmetic smells great, and works great!

4. Therapy Massage Bar

Anyone who knows me understands that I am a huge sucker for a good massage. This massage bar is one of my favourites that Lush has to offer.

While I enjoy most of their massage bars, I find Therapy is the MVP all-rounder who gets the job done. Not only does it make it easier to massage different areas of my skin, but it also leaves me feeling silky and well-tended.

Talk about therapy, indeed!

5. T’Eo

There’s recently been a big movement of foregoing aluminum-laden deodorant products.

T’eo is a great alternative free of that pesky product, which smells fantastic, to boot! Lush states that this product contains “sweat-absorbing powders and odour-neutralizing essential oils” that combat the bacteria and microbes that makes our armpits stink.

With it’s mix of tea tree oil, lemongrass, and juniper berry, you’ll be smelling fresh at the same time as fighting off sweat! T’eotally cool!

6. Mint Julips

For someone like me whose a lover of lipstick (and kisses), this product is a must. I use it religiously twice a week, and I find it extremely effective at keeping my pout in tip-top shape.

Out of all of Lush’s lip scrubs, this one is by far my favourite (followed by Honey and Carrot Cake). It has a pleasing tingle, and the scrub itself works beautifully (I find some of their newer formulas such as Cookie Dough and Matcha Cake don’t work quite as well).

For puckered-up perfection, don’t look further than this lip scrub!

7. Dream Cream

If you happen to be a Lushie (or are often on social media), you’ve probably heard about the magic powers of this cream which has apparently cured many people’s eczema.

As someone who has dry skin, I can confidently say this cream is very moisturizing. It has a pleasant odour that isn’t too overpowering, and the formula rubs in very easily.

For a well-rounded cream that would work on many skin types, this is a safe choice.

8. Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo Bar

There’s no denying that shampoo bars are the way of the future - no packaging! Effective! Efficient! Portable!

There’s so many benefits to using these products, and the Honey I Washed My Hair is my favourite of all the ones Lush offers. The scent isn’t too overpowering, and it’s a great basic shampoo that works for my hair.

One tip I’d recommend is buying the square tin rather than the circular tin for this shampoo bar, as I find it’s easier to remove the product when there’s more space to “play”.

9. ROSE LOLLIPOP LIP SERVICE

Does your pout need a little pick-me-up? Swipe on this nourishing rose and lemon flavoured lip balm and watch dry, chapped lips begin to disappear.

This product - full of shea butter, cupuaçu butter, rose oil, and rose water - is my favourite that Lush has to offer. I find that it has the most pleasing formula of all Lush lip balms, and the scent is so romantic. My mum always ask me to pick her up a new pot every time I pop into Lush. If that’s not a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is!

10. Butterball Bath Bomb

Bath bombs - we all love ‘em. With so many varieties, it’s hard to pick a favourite. Having said that, Butterball (especially when it’s in the limited edition Butterbear form), takes that top spot for me.

This product is more about function rather than form. Sure, it doesn’t create a picture perfect impressionist painting or shiny Jackson Pollock creation in my bathtub, but the cocoa-infused product does leave my skin feeling positively smooth. In fact, I’d say it leaves me quite ravishing. (It’s horrible to say but after using it for the first time, I made the comment to my friend that I felt as soft as those people must’ve felt in house of wax after being turned into wax sculptures. Yikes).

The scent of this product is also nothing short of perfection: vanilla. Mmm.

This is a hardworking product that delivers in the end product. Sure, some bath bombs are nice for the one-night show, but this particular product is good enough for the long-term.
