Best Lush Cosmetics Lip Balms

Fall is officially here, so it’s time to be mindful of keeping our skin well hydrated. Of course, that includes lips! When temperatures take a dip, my lips often become dry. Luckily, these three lip balms have been helpful in making sure my pout stays picture perfect all-year long. Being from Lush Cosmetics, they are all cruelty-free, fair-trade, and well-scented.

I’m not one to pay lip service to things I like, so without further ado, here’s my review!

(So happy that rhymes.)

Does your pout need a little pick-me-up? Swipe on this nourishing rose and lemon flavoured lip balm and watch dry, chapped lips begin to disappear.

This product - full of shea butter, cupuaçu butter, rose oil, and rose water - is my favourite that Lush has to offer. I find that it has the most pleasing formula of all Lush lip balms, and the scent is so romantic. My mum always ask me to pick her up a new pot every time I pop into Lush. If that’s not a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is!

2. Honey Trap

Honey, if your lips are caught in a dryness trap, grab yourself a tin of Honey Trap, stat!

This potent mint-honey scented balm packs a punch in the moisture department, thanks to (surprise, surprise) honey, shea butter, organic wheatgerm oil, and almond oil. There is also a delightful tingle thanks to the addition of peppermint oil.

This lip balm does have a more gritty texture than Rose Lollipop, so it does not glide on as easily. However, this quality does make it quite exfoliating, which is a bonus in the dryer months!

For lips in need of serious hydration and mild exfoliation, this is your go-to!

Do your lips some service, and grab yourself a tin of Lip Service!

If you prefer your products lightly-scented, this lip balm may be a strong contender. With just a hint of citrus scent, this product does its job without being overpowering.

Apricot kernel oil, beeswax butter, shea butter, and cocoa butter help to keep lips soft, smooth, and protected.

In terms of performance, Lip Service is a more hydrating balm than the other two mentioned. It’s purpose is to provide for your lips, and it sure does! With a matte finish, this is a great balm to keep in your purse to soften your pout on the go.
