Best Rosehip Oils For Your Budget

Rosehip oil provides a slew of skincare benefits. This anti-inflammatory oil is packed with fatty acids and Vitamins A and C. It is safe to use on skin that’s sensitive, eczema-prone, or with rosacea.

This oil is incredibly moisturizing, hydrating, firming, and can be used to prevent wrinkles. The oil is also safe for those with acne, and can even help reduce the appearance of acne scars. With all these benefits, it might be worthwhile to try and add Rosehip oil to your everyday beauty and skincare routine!

With all of these oils, I found it somewhat difficult to apply makeup directly after use. For this reason, I recommend using them at nighttime for optimal results.

$ - The Ordinary

As of late, I have been buying this oil and using it with gusto all over my décolletage and neck. It’s super budget-friendly, but still delivers the skin benefits and hydration I want to that region.

The one downside is that I find this product less “potent” than some of the others mentioned on the list - it requires a lot more product for similar results. However, the only ingredient this product contains is “Rosa Canina Seed Oil”, so there’s no cheeky fillers that will alter your skincare results ✌️.

If you’re looking to test out rosehip oil for the first time, or you’re on a tight budget but still crave the benefits of this wonderful oil, The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil is a good fit for you!

$$ - Skin Essence Organics Rosehip Oil

Skin Essence offers a Rosehip oil that is Certified Organic, Unrefined, and Cold-pressed. The only ingredient in this product is Pure Rosehip Seed Oil.

This product is effective, and delivers all the benefits of Rosehip to the skin. One thing that I like is that it has it’s eco-friendly, as it has it's Eco-Cert Cosmetic Standard. The Rosehip plants they harvest are from organic farming.

The downside of this product to me is that it’s a pump, and not a dropper. This is a very minimal annoyance, which comes down to personal preference, If you prefer pumps, this might be the one for you!

$$$ - Sukin

Hailing from Australian, Sukin has created a fantastic Rosehip oil that’s cold-pressed, Certified Organic, paraben-free, and preservative-free. The Rosehip plant they use is grown and harvested in Chile.

The only ingredient in this product is “Rosa Eglanteria (Rose Hip) Oil”. If you want a concentrated, effective, and pure version of this oil, look no further than this. Out of all the items mentioned on this list, this one has the most pleasant smell.

In addition to their oil, Sukin uses this key ingredient in a number of their other skincare products. One of my favourites? The Sukin Rosehip Hydrating Day Cream. It smells great, and is an effective hydrator. How fab is that?

$$$$ - Pai Skincare

Unlike other Rosehip oils on the market, Pai’s version is a highly concentrated blend of the Rosehip fruit and seed oil. There is also Rosemary Extract and Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E) to boost the key ingredients benefits. Because it does mix together multiple parts of the Rosehip plant (the fruit and the seed), I find that I get more pronounced effects than with other Rosehip oils that I’ve used.

The oil isn’t heavily scented, and whatever scent it does have is quite pleasant. It’s easy to apply, and a small amount of product goes a very long way. You can either use it on its own as a moisturizer, or add a couple drops to your moisturizer to boost its effects.

Overall, despite the price-tag, Pai’s Rosehip oil is one of my favourites, as I found there was a noticeable difference in my skin after a couple of weeks of usage.

Make sure to check out my detailed review of this product!
