Pizzeria Libretto

There are a few Pizzeria Libretto locations across the GTA, all offering gluten free pizza dough base.

In my (not so) humble opinion, Pizzeria Libretto has the best gluten free pizza in Toronto. It truly has the most authentic texture, that is more soft and chewy, instead of hard and cardboard-y.

The toppings are also delicious, and this makes for a great place to bring both gluten free and gluten glee individuals for lunch or dinner (or breakfast… I don’t judge).

Vegan/ vegetarian/ dairy-free options available.

Favourite Cake: Funghi Pizza

Location:
221 Ossington Avenue, Toronto

pizzeria DEFINA/ Defina Wood Fired

For award-winning Napoletana style pizza, head over to either of Defina’s locations!

The best part of this pizzeria is the abundance of choice. Their toppings are truly incredible; you will have a hard time deciding what to order (good way to ensure you’ll be back)!

Defina offers hand-crafted, and wood-fired ‘normal’ and “gluten-free” pizzas and pastas. You can try the prized “Pizza Expo Winner” for yourself, which won the Best Traditional Pizza in the International Division in Las Vegas. On top of that honour, Define won Best Non-Traditional Pizza, International Region and placed in the Pan Division, Sicilian Style. The Italian authority of restaurants Gambrel Rosso (Food and Wine) even presented them with the renowned ‘Slice’ - wow!

Vegan/ vegetarian/ lactose-free options available.

Favourite Pizza: Pompeii or Vegan Love

ORETTA

Stunning and stylish interiors are the perfect pairing to gluten-free pizzas at Oretta.

This swanky restaurant graces midtown and downtown diners with delicious traditional Italian food with a modern twist.

Be sure to also grab an appetizer or side - they’re fabulous!

Revolver Pizza Co.

If you’re in Etobicoke and crave gluten-free pizza, Revolver is your best friend!

This place is especially perfect for casual, yet high-quality takeout. Ready-to-go slices & made-to-order pizzas abound, with classic toppings like tomato margheritas, or fun toppings like chipotle chicken.

For more (celiac-friendly) gluten treats and takeout, head to Bread Essentials down the street.

Favourite Pizza: 1UP (with truffle honey… mmm)

Pi Co

You’re gluten intolerant, but need a late-night, quick takeout pizza. Where do you go? Pi Co.

Make your perfect treat at this casual eatery. Out of all the quick serve pizza shops, this is the one I consider best.

Favourite Pizza: You craft it yourself - but I recommend the white sauce!
